In just over a year, Les Rosbifs have established themselves as a favorite on the gastronomic scene in Pau, thanks to its unique offer of authentic and classic dishes from both Great Britain and France.
It's a place where French favorites like Os à Moelle, or local specialties like Garbure Béarnaise, rub shoulders with Scotch Egg, Rosbif (of course), and even the famous (in France anyway!) Haggis (Stuffed Sheep's Belly).
We are known for our warm welcome and pride ourselves on our inclusive approach. Vegetarians are welcome and we can always accommodate food intolerances (especially with advance notice!). It goes without saying that we welcome children and that we also accept dogs!
The fish used for our authentic 'Fish & Chips' comes from nearby Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Our Sunday Brunch traditional 'Cumberland' sausages are made from local pork by a local British butcher. Our bread is supplied by a baker from Pau, the famous Maison Grangé.
Even our English beer 'Real Ale' is made locally by Shakespeare Brasserie, a small craft brewery run by a British couple.
The small wine list is carefully compiled by independent producers from whom we source directly.
We are also proud to serve only organic and fair trade certified coffee.
Limiting the environmental impact of everything we do is a top priority for Les Rosbifs. Even our furniture has been stylishly recycled from what we inherited from the company that previously occupied the building!
